While looking through some old backups of former webpages I created, I thought,
"Why not put this online so everyone can laugh, enjoy some old school classics,
and maybe even find something they miss from way back when?" So, I decided to go
for it. I had to do a little editing on many of the pages to allow navigation and
the viewing of images to work. This will give a more indepth history of my webpage
accomplishments (and failures).
My very first webpage I ever created was my "Twin Ion Engine fighter" webpage
on WBS.NET. I was given the code from another WBS.NET user and that was my start into
HTML. It just had some info about me and had maybe a couple stupid pictures. There are
sadly no backups from that original page.

Isaac's Dazed Web was the first website I created,
having subpages rather than just one main page. It was hosted by Geocities,
back when the free pages were set up by topic. The URL was:
http://www.geocities.com/Area51/dimension/2450/
The website starts off with 3 very annoying Javascript popups I must have
thought were awesome back when I created it. There was no real order to the
pages, so the links to subpages, images, other sites, etc. are scattered all
over the main page. Also, some of the subpages have no purpose but to point to
other subpages.
Don't try to e-mail me at the
address on this website. It hasn't worked in like 6 years. Also, I have edited
the original Geocities banner that showed up on the pages back in the day. The
edited version shows no ads and has no links, but shows off the old school
banners you don't find much anymore.

Sometime after Isaac's Dazed Web was up and running,
two guys from the UK (NiK and Paul) sent me an e-mail about an idea they had for
a second Spaceballs movie. At the time, I thought it was a great idea, and I
created the website right away. I decided to get a different host for this
project, so I got a Freeservers site for it. The URL was:
http://chapter1.freeservers.com/
The URL still works, but it is the updated version (more info below). This backup
copy of the page is still pretty crap design. Large gaps between words, and a
terrible color scheme (still including that "stars" background seen on
Isaac's Dazed Web). After getting the site up and running with all of NiK's ideas,
I added some things that don't work anymore (like ICQ messenging).

At some point, after learning a few new HTML tricks, I decided to update my
original Isaac's Dazed Web to make it less redundant and better looking. It was
hosted on Freeservers, since I grabbed this URL around the same time as I got
one for Chapter 1 (above). The URL was:
http://dazedweb.freeservers.com/
That URL still exists, but I have set up a redirection page on it to bring you
to the latest Dazed Web. This old verison includes a redesigned Isaac's Dazed Web,
Zelda Maps (more info below), a screenshot post and guitar tabs. No backups for
the screenshot post can be found.
The Guestbook on this site still actually works. It
shows my site as being "Isaac's Cool Homepage" and directs to the
original URL for Isaac's Dazed Web. Seeing as how the earliest entry in the
guestbook is dated December 1997, it's my best guess that that is when I created
the original Isaac's Dazed Web.

This was created as part of version 2 of Isaac's Dazed Web. Back when the only
Zelda game was the original on NES, my family would make maps in a notebook
which had grid paper in it. So, while playing a bunch of Zelda 3, I decided it
would be kewl to make maps of all the dungeons for Zelda 3 as well, and then
transcribe the original Zelda maps on my site as well. Well, I was about to
Level 8 at the time I started making the maps. So, I did the first couple,
got bored, and made the one for Level 8. After only a few maps, I just sorta
stopped making them and decided just to play the game.
The site might have been more of a success if I would have completed it. The
two dark forest maps, that I mentioned were "too big" in the news
section, I can not find. If I find them, I'll pop them up there, since they
aren't too big anymore.

This was the first webpage I created after I learned how to use tables for
design. Any other tables you may have seen up to this point were pretty much
copied from other sources. Once I found Crosswinds, I made my site on there,
since they didn't have popup ads. The URL was:
http://www.crosswinds.net/~twin27/
A unique thing about this website was that it's images were drawn. If the
design was a bit more elaborate, it might have looked really kewl. This was
also the first page to have Mr.T vs. CISCO, which has become a Dazed Web classic.
Around that time, the official Sim's website had a section that you could
make your own photo albums. Most of the ones on there told stories. Well, I
decided to make a similar thing on my site. But, mine was going to be a whole
neighborhood of the Sims interacting and all having their own kewl stories.
My Sims neighborhood idea was never completed, however. Of the part that is
made, it doesn't make much sense. The story was going to be where the Brothel
was pretty much secret in the town, then everyone would find out what was really
going on there and start going crazy. I got the idea after watching the Simpsons
episode that is similar.
